Performances

End of Year Production – Mid November

The annual end of year production is an exciting event that is held at the Riverside Theatre. The performance is more of a production than a concert, flowing with a theme and storyline, making it enjoyable for family and friends to watch when their child is not on stage. Every student in the school performs and is not only a great learning experience to work in a theatre, but a thrilling time that students look forward to each year.

Costumes are supplied by APAC for a small hire fee that is included in the production levy paid at the beginning of each term. The hire of costumes alleviates the problem of families purchasing very expensive costumes only to have them hanging at home in wardrobes from year to year. Memories of the costumes will be captured on the production DVD and in our professional portraits taken on APAC’s Photo Day. Each family receives a DVD of the end of year production as well as a disk of ‘action’ photos taken of the students throughout the year.

APAC Company – Performances throughout the year

APAC Company members and other selected students will have the opportunity to perform at many events throughout the year. This gives our students who are aspiring performers a way to gain as much experience as possible.

Exams and Eisteddfods – Term 2 & 3

For those students wishing to gain accredited certificates in Ballet and Tap, APAC offers you all the tools, tuition and support needed to register, work hard and get great results.

Eisteddfods offer a fantastic opportunity to grow and mature a student’s performance skills and confidence. APAC will coordinate the entries to the major eisteddfods, as well as offer private lessons to elevate bring all routines and numbers to a truly polished state.

Photo Day – End of November

In addition to the professional photos taken during the end of year production, families will have the opportunity to order professional portraits taken on Photo Day. Students have class portraits taken in each costume as well as individual and family shots. The photos are very reasonably priced and are taken by Blueprint Studios.

Presentation Day – Beginning of December

All students are presented with participation certificates.

Other awards and scholarships are presented by the Principal and teachers. We then end the day with our annual Christmas party.

This is fantastic way to recognise the student’s achievements and the day is greatly enjoyed by all.
